So I live in an apartment, and I have a hedgehog which is an exotic pet. Lately there have been crickets coming into the apartment some how, its the middle of winter here, it's been -25 to -30 (Celsius) and we have about 3 feet of snow.
I think there's another exotic pet in the building that is being fed crickets - which is fine lol I give my hedgehog meal worms - except my meal worms aren't escaping from their jar and invading other apartments, I feed her directly, right in front of me but I'm thinkin someone is putting the crickets in the cage with their pet and the bugs are getting out.
Whats a list of pets that would likely eat crickets?
I thought if I could get a list I could contact the building manager/caretaker and just say "some one in the apartment who has (list) is feeding crickets that are escaping into other apartments. Could you please inform them of that?" Or something along those lines. I don't want to breach confidentiality, and ask who has the pet, but the building manager/caretaker knows who has what kind of pets, they keep track, I had to tell them I had a hedgehog when I moved in. If you get caught keeping a pet, without notifying them you're charged a $200 fine. Which kinda sucks.
