What kind of pedal would my Bass Guitar need to make that really muddy bass sound. I'm talking like that really hollow thick sound like in Erode by Dir En Grey or Set the Ray to Jerry by Smashing Pumpkins.
I can't think of any more well known examples right now, but hopefully a music buff would be able to help me here.
