I got an old 1975 Suzuki TS185 2-stroke dual sport bike. Well i dont have the original Manual so i need to know what kind of oil to put into the crankcase/transmission. details- bike is a 183cc 2-stroke 5speed manual dual sport. Has a WET-SUMP transmission. Just need to know what kind of oil to use for the crankcase.

The transmission and the crankcase are completely separate on 2-strokes. For your transmission, use ordinary automotive multigrade oil. DO NOT use gear oil!!

You don't put any oil in the crankcase of a 2-stroke. The oil to lubricate the engine goes in the petrol. If the autolube is still working on this bike, there is a separate tank behind one of the sidecovers. Put 2-stroke engine oil in there. It's different to the stuff that goes in your transmission! If the autolube no longer works, mix the 2-stroke oil with the petrol at a ratio of 32 parts of petrol to one part of oil.
