What kind of music do they play at your school dances?

I was in 7th last year and at the casual dances they played rap, hip-hop and things like that!
For example Crank that soulja boy, 2-step, even baby got back!
So I want to know if most schools play music like this or if were are just really lucky that they let us play music like that.
And we are getting a new principle this year and he is supposed to be strict do you think we can still play this music?
But our old Principal was practically grinding with the students so ya :P
Yeah we get the occasional gay song like Hannah Montana but like ever 10 songs we get a bad one.
 
our school plays rap too. you're not lucky, that's just how it goes.
and "gay" songs do not include hannah montana. you're only in 8th grade, how would you know what good music is.
 
My school plays music like that, and my principle is just... down right EVIL. The music's really... annoying sometimes. They play like Jonas Brothers and Hannah Montana sometimes. *shudders*
