alright well my sister was really sick and me and my mom went to the hospital to see if anything was wrong, cause she was crying nonstop all night and wouldn't drink her milk and she was real weak and wasn't crawling around or walking just dry coughing non stop and wheezing. when we went there the doctor said it was a virus and would go away soon, 2 days later it was hard for her to breath and her heart stopped and she has gotten brain damage from that accident and has been in the hospital for months and now she is basically a vegetable and vent dependentt and oxygen dependent, some doctors said if the other doctor would've kept her in a room at the hospital so they can watch her then she wouldnt have turned out like this. We were wondering could we sue the doctor? If so what kind of lawyers would we need?

you can sue for mal practice if you can get a lawyer to take the case. that's where it gets tricky. you're probably looking for a pro bono deal. few lawyers want to work malpractice, fewer still want to pay for the opportunity.

those doctors that said she should have been kept in the hospital would have to testify. few doctors are willing to testify against another doctor.

sorry about your sister but, be advised you will have a hard time of it. good luck tho.
