...perennials, and will survive in Buffalo? I have 2 big empty spots in my yard. One spot is along the patio... I am thinking of putting some kind of trellis there, and want a plant that will grow up it. A perennial, that will make it through a Buffalo winter, the spot gets sun most of the day. The other spot is running between my driveway and fence... I want either a pretty ground cover kind of thing, or something flowery that will cover a fairly long space and not be too much work (I do not have a green thumb, at all) and also a perennial.
