I recently bought and cycled a 75 gal aquarium and it's ready for fish. What are some good species to put on here? This is a freshwater tank community.
Koi Fish are beautiful and if you buy one small and raise it and take care of it you can sell it and earn some dough. Koi fish are really nice and they will grow big and they will provide lots of entertainment for awhile.
Fancy Goldfish! If you like them.
They are beautiful though and can grow up to 8 inches.
But probably put only 3 in there so they will have enough room.
You can even teach them tricks too, they are very smart.
If you do get any, you should do a lot of research so you'll know how to take care of them. They are are messy fish, so keeping the tank clean is very important.
I could recommend a ton, but instead, I'm going to direct you to my favorite book on aquariums: THE COMPLETE IDIOT'S GUIDE TO FRESHWATER AQUARIUMS by Mike Wickham.
It talks about everything, and Wickham really goes into details about all the different varieties of freshwater fish.
