I have a freshwater 55 gal fish tank with mollys, platys a snail and a frog i feed them flakes,, couple days ago i saw in the gravel a worm i thought it was poop but it was moving and then it went deeper in the gravel so i dug the gravel out and caught it.. it looks like a blood worm its red with a slightly black tail or head.. ive never fed the fish blood worms and i just treated the tank for ich.. so im just wondering what kind of parasite this is.. everything i've searched on the interenet doesnt look like this ive found one picture that looks like my worm but i couldnt figure it out.. lots of sites talk about anchor worms but i dont thinkt ahts what they are maybe but they look different.. its the weirdest thing any help here.. i treated the tank with parasite clear but im just wondering what they are and what they do to my fish thanks!!
