what kind of fish is this -it kinda ate every fish in the tank?

ok my mom got this so called tetra an it ate every fish in the tank ..guppies ,mollies an even a medium size gold fish!

just plz tell me what it is :

Tetras, also called Beta's only live alone because they fight and kill all other fish. Even their own kind. Just keep it in a separate bowl.
