Say i had the resources for such a tank that i have dreamed of having scince i was a young boy. a giant tank that mesaures 15 feet wide by 15 feet long by 30 feet tall. set up as a salt water tank with grow lights, plants coral and idealy, as a self contianed mini eco system that required only electricity (light) to continue. or at most, ocasional feeder fish. what sort of species of salt water fish could i have in it? maybe some you dont normaly see in aquaria because they would require a giant tank.
a blue whale wouldnt even come close to fitting

well the Shedd aquarium in Chicago has a tank about twice the size of that with an enormous Caribbean reef in it. There are nurse sharks, huge tarpon, and all varieties of beautiful tropical fish. You could put a ton of species in one half the size. Anything that wasn't migratory or whale sized would fit just fine. i know I would like to put some sharks, puffers, trigger fish, lots of invertebrates, angelfish, tangs, corral beauties, and sting rays in it.
