What kind of education/licenses do I need to run a successful engineering firm?

Currently I'm an undergrad as an Electrical Engineering major and have hopes of earning my Professional Engineering degree. My dad owns an electrical contracting company that I hope to take over one day and if and when I do, I would like to turn it into something along the lines of Bechtel or Arup (I have big dreams). Now I wonder is having a B.S in EE and getting a PE enough to accomplish this? I was also thinking about getting an M.S in Engineering Management - is this even relevant? Any other recommendations? Thanks for the help
