What colors did the North and South wear in the Cilvil War? And what kind of clothes..etc..anything that has to do with clothing in the Civil War...

People dressed in typical clothing for their time, women frequently wore darker colors after marriage and when widowed. Men wore dark heavy pants and coats, white or blue shirts. Boots and button shoes.

google Uniforms of the north and South. there were quite a variety.

For Uniforms: Navy Blue, Lt. Blue, Sky Blue, Grey, Black, Red, Yellow, Silver, White, Green, Butternut, Brown, Tan.
Many volunteer units designed their own uniforms and many were quite colorful. They did not attempt to 'camouflage' themselves as do the soldiers of today.
