i've been thinking of getting a job at my local casino but i guess i don't know what kind of job i could get...

what kind of casino job do you not need an education for?

Depends what kind of job you are looking for. if you are looking for management level job then yes you need to have higher education.
But if you are looking for some dealer job or security job or observer job then you have to take some classes and training which recommend by the casino, so then they hire you.

If you want hotel administration - some colleges have it
sometimes you can get education in Hotel via Food and Beverage or i think theres a few other areas of expertise
There are Casino jobs but most all you HAVE to start as a Dealer really no way around it - I dont think you can do any schooling that can have someone be a floor person - or floor manager -without having been a dealer and pit boss and floor supervisor..............
there is a food chain at casinos and like any other place you got to work your way up
