What kind of car would be the best for me? Help please?

So when I turn 16 my parents will most likely buy me a car. My mom doesn't want to drive me around anymore. Plus I get out of school at 1:35 three days a week and don't have anyone to pick me up and I have to walk home. So I need a car that I like and is reasonably priced any suggestions? thanks :D
 
Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla, and Honda Accord are all really affordable cars used or new. But since your just turning 16 a used car will probably do. You save on insurance because of an old car so the insurance won't have to pay that much to replace your car. Congrats btw.
