I'm going to be honest. I don't know much about cars, but I'm starting to get into it. I happen to be in the market for a new one.
This is what I know I want: a sedan, two-door, or even a hatchback that can run high 13's (or even 14 seconds even, but no higher) on the 1/4 mile... completely stock.
Also preferably something that responds well to bolt-ons :]. I'm fond of American cars but I've already had an 06 Mustang GT and I want to consider some options maybe I haven't thought of. I want a gently used car, so I'm probably not willing to buy anything made earlier than 1998.
Anyone have any specific models I should look into? I'm kind of leaning towards a 2005 GTO right now, but I want to see if there's anything else out there before I commit!
Also, of course faster than high 13's is just fine ;]. Keep in mind I'm not made of money so keep it reasonable!
