I'm not a sound system expert, but when I checked with a local car audio store they said I really need a battery rather than a capacitor. I have 2 rockford T1 12" subs in a ported box and I just ordered a hifonics brutus 1200.1 amp. The subs are rated at 600 rms each and the amp is rated 1200 rms so I'm pretty sure they match up well? I'm sure I do need a battery instead of a capacitor, but do I really need the 300 dollar battery they recommend? p.s. - the system is going in my 2007 saturn aura xr, not sure what the alternator rating is or if that even matters but I thought ya'll might care to know.
