This sub is a dual 2 ohm coil and I have the sub in this crappy ported box right now and I am wired to 4 ohms. The amp is on about 90 hz on the low pass filter as well. The sub will produce really good mid and low bass from 45 hz to 20 hz. But i can't seem to get it to hit the higher bass tones of 50 to 80 hz very well. I was wondering if it is just the sub itself or is it the box i have it in? Will a sealed box produce better all around bass for this sub? Please tell me what size box and what type of box i will need to help produce the higher bass tones better. Thanks.
