What kind of bicycle should I get?

I want a bicycle that will be good for cycling round town but also have a good amount of gears and suspension so i can take it onto the country roads around where I live. Preferably not too expensive, and something that looks like a dutch style bicycle or something stylish. Any good second hand places to look at are welcome too.
If anyone could give me advice on good brand and models of bikes that fit those requirements or good places to buy one i'd be really grateful, thanks!
It doesn't have to be dutch style! I just used that as a possibility, just something that looks nice and stylish with gears and suspension. I just used dutch as a an example of what i mean by stylish.

i agree with the due over me giant bikes are good bikes. You should think about getting a hybrid bike look them up there real good for what you need. trek is also a good brand.
 
A "dutch" style womans bike with multiple gears and suspension. Not likely.

Go to your local bike shop and pose this question. Maybe they can find it for you.
