What kind of beer and cake to serve with Coconut Crusted Shirmp w/ Mango Salsa?

I am making my husband Coconut crusted shrimp w/ mango salsa, salad and rice for his birthday. What kind of beer would go good with this? He likes lots of different kinds of beer. Also what kind of birthday cake should I make?

Tecate if you can get your hands on some-its a true Mexican Beer and is oh so delicious. Otherwise Dos Equis isn't bad or Leinenkugal's Summer Shandy wouldn't be bad either although others may disagree.

Do an ice-cream cake! or Red Velvet would compliment the meal too! But you do know you can very rarely ever go wrong with a chocolate cake unless there are allergies involved lol.
What about a key-lime pie or cheesecake? that would compliment your shrimp.

His favorite beer I like Budweiser but Heineken is good.
I think key lime pie would good with that. or cheesecake.

Modelo especial...nice mexican feel or San Miguel..works with an asian feel but good with mexican
