The upper chain of command is saying all bags, whether worn or carried, must be SOLID black or navy blue. This means no nike, jansport, under armor, or northface marking on it.
I've always thought the instruction to read any backpack worn over the shoulder must be black or navy blue, but a jansport or nike symbol is ok.
I've always thought off colored bags, such as a purple addidas gym bag can be carried in the hand while in uniform.
Can anyone help clear this up?
