I graduated with a history degree in 2002, then went back to get a nursing degree. I loved history and thought I wanted to be a teacher, and then realized that I didn't want to spend the rest of my life doing it. I didn't like any of the "other" history jobs, and now love being a nurse.

So back to your question...

Government jobs usually favor the liberal art degrees. It shows you can write well, process information, and most importantly are teachable. Think CIA, federal government, local government, just do a google search for federal jobs. There is a specific web site (can't remember it off hand) that lists them by state/municipality.

Work for non-profits, get into the business aspect of things.

With a Master's you can teach in higher education.

Good luck...
