Well first off, most successful and happy economic majors end up with their Ph.D at the end. The options in your career will be unlimited as a result. I'm doing this off the top of my head so bare with me. Just a BA can gain internships and side jobs working with companies, finance, markets, government, CIA, Political parties, politics in general................ However the pay won't be the same if you have just a B.A. A Ph.D can have you earning from 80,000-100,00+. Depending of course on your experience and status in the field......................... Being how rigorous Econ can be. I plan on Earning my B.A just like you, however, I will teach econ wherever so that I can master my economics knowledge while I earn my Ph.D. All depends what your goal is. Good luck.
