What is your saddest movie scene?

That scene is fantastic, very emotional. I don't like Matt Damon as a rule but I really do like that film because of Robin Williams and I must admit that Matt Damon was brilliant in that scene.

agree on this.

This has to be my all time worst scene for crying, and happens every time I see it, all the way through. It's also one of my all time favourite films, so heartwarming, and it's 70 years old.
The last 10 minutes from the 1939 Goodbye, Mr. Chips:

The last 5 or 10 minutes from The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button. It's just so, so sad.

And quite a few more, but don't really want to think about it now, otherwise I start blubbing again.

Maximus dying in Gladiator
Steel Magnolias (Sally Field is amazing in this film)
Terms of Endearment (Shirley Maclaine, again wonderful part she plays)
E.T.
The Green Mile (where Tom Hanks tells Dean to wipe his face of the tears so the people attending the execution cannot see, that just really sets me off
Snow Dogs - cried nearly all the way through this :(
The Color Purple
Forrest Gump
Simon Birch

There are soooo many out there....i cry at anything nowadays :D

The final scene of Stand By Me, when Richard Dreyfuss voice-over explains what happened to the characters as they grew up. The Chris Chambers bit gets me every time.

I haven't watched Ghost in years, but the end when Whoopi Goldberg 'channels' Patrick Swayze used to make me cry every time.

I totally forgot 'Field of Dreams'.
TowarRAB the end when the Kevin Costner charachter realises the hanRABome young baseball player stood on the edge of the pitch is his long dead father, (as he once was in his prime), and he now finally gets the chance to ask him, 'Dad, wanna have a catch?
