What is your reaction when you get bomb-barded with thumbs-down?

Unless I really put a lot of thought and effort into it, I just think "it could be worse"

like I could be getting death threats in hate mail or be verbally or written-ly accosted by others.
 
Like you say we all have our own opinions, I just move on. It does not bother me at all. I'm not always right plus I'm 54 so my thoughts are alot different then most youngsters on here.
 
Never had a thumbs down. Receive many "best answer" responses. Why are you here? Are you giving positive answers or making fun of people with a real question or problem? You might be surprised how few thumbs down responses there are. Why are you getting bombarded? What is so special about you? This is an open forum. Most contributors ask real questions. Of course there are some that are inane. My suggestion is to answer a contributor's question with the same respect you would expect. For example. Just because a young girl thinks she is pregnant and does not know who the father is, is no reason to lash out and call her stupid and if she ever heard of condoms. Or call her typical ghetto. As I said just an example has nothing to do with you. These are real people with real questions and problems. Do you think that if they had the resources they would post it here? They are not here to entertain you and made fun of. I would change your attitude and do some good instead of harm. I will bet you I get "best answer".
Sure beats your anticipated "thumbs down" unless I reached you. In that case, happy to have you as a contributor
 
I go on my own thumb downs frenzy, thumbing down every answer that comes in my way
then I go to all the questions i've answered and vote for myself lol
