What is your position on registered sex offenders having children?

In general?
What if there is an arguable case that they didn't commit the crime?
What if they openly admitted to it and seeked out treatment?
How would a child handle having a sex offender as a parent regardless of whether they believe their parent did it or not?

I'm just curious as to how this would play out.
