...stabilisation/vibration reduction in a macro lens? Many people have said that Vibration reduction or image stabilisation is very useful to have in a macro lens, but other people have said that it is useless when you are getting that close to an object. Do you think it is useless for macrophotography or vey useful? why/why not?
p.s. I have to take a lot of very close up photos of insects. I wont be using a tripod most of the time.
