I wanted to hear everyones opinion on the recent yahoo article, http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20101031/ap_on_he_me/us_birth_control, about the U.S. providing "preventative medicine". Are contraceptives really preventative medicine? Doesn't that imply that pregnancy is an illness to be avoided? Or is birth control just a luxury?
