artificial hearts are, if you do not know, hearts made out of a special plastic called polyurethane. the heart needs to be charged every 10 hours, but they would save many lives. why or why do you not think that it is wrong to have these hearts? (socially and culturally)
well i think that it is new and rather risky technology, and that we should try to invest our time and money into getting more people to donate their own hearts, if they have healthy hearts but are passing away. i dont like the sound of it though... cutting out your heart and replacing it with a robotic one? and be plugged in every ten hours... but then again, i probably would accept, if it wasthe option, either that or to die. but its such new and potentially dangerous technology, and i probably would reject the offer of a robotic heart. though they cost £6000....
