I always thought of us having more of a "lack" of culture.
But as that may sound bad, I really don't think it is. We have blended so many cultures together that we kind of just steal the culture of other countries and blend them in ours. Which means every individual has their own set of values and traditions, so we can't be classified as just one. So the spread of this isn't so bad, it possesses diversity in a peaceful and positive way. Although there is still a few troubles with race now and then, and not to mention homosexuality, we're getting pretty close to a point where that stuff isn't such a big deal anymore. And that's a good thing to spread when in other countries you could be killed for thinking differently or even being of a certain race.
But there's a huge bad side too. We are pointlessly going to war and denying it being murder. Yes, apparently killing and stealing from innocent people who have earned what they have doesn't count as murder if you call it war. We are also vengeful and use scare tactics. Not to mention using poor people in other countries for labor with unfair pay and poor working conditions while they try to feed their families on what little we give them. And while all of this is happening all us U.S. citizens just go on with our lives as if this stuff isn't happening.
Although I think if only the positive side of this culture spreads, that would be great, but if the majority of the world was one culture, I would hate it. I like diversity, I just don't like it when people fight about it.
