What is your opinion about people complaining about a man who just wants to play...

...football? I see a lot of people complaining and how they are annoyed about the media attention around Brett Favre. I too am annoyed with the media coverage, but I choose to not watch it or read about it. It is an easy fix to the problem. I only read about it, if it is something relevant. Besides, the media is the one running the story, not Brett Favre.

I almost feel as though people ask that question just so people can say, "yeah!" and jump on their bandwagon to feel special.

So I am looking for pro and con opinions. BA will be awarded to the best supported opinion, even if it is opposing.

Thank you all for your participation.
Tornado Alley - Thanks bro. I was inspired by the many ranting questions. Alot of people contributed. LOL!
Hawk M - Have you ever changed your mind? Granted I do not change my mind often, but I have from time to time. I can only imagine how hard it would be to make a life changing decision about a job you REALLY love and know that you do not have all the time in the world to do it. For some, it is an easy decision. For a person like Favre, it is nearly a life and death situation. I can at least understand why it has been hard for him.
Sumdude - Great observation
Cre8 Musiq - I applaud your answer bro. Drunk or not, you make a valid point to both sides.
Bruiserk - There is nothing wrong with changing your mind. In fact, Favre changing his mind doesn't affect anyone but his own direct family or friends. If Favre is not driving me crazy, then it might be the fault of the individual feeling crazy. What is the harm?

If Brett Favre wants to play football, he just flat out needs to come out and say he wants to play. More and more people are complaining because Favre continues to play this out and drive everyone crazy. Yes, the media is giving the story the run it is, but Favre has also been doing this for the last few years. He first plans to retire, then come back, then he can't make up his mind. At some point you'd expect enough people to just scream out that they're done with the whole thing.

for me,
it's been about Farve's
yes I am/no I'm not/yes i am/No I'm not
retirement speeches for years now

make up your mind, and stick with it

I used to enjoy watching him play
Never hated him, but I've lost a lot of respect, the past 3-4 years

Ok , first of all,we BOTH know that people are going to ask that same question a hundred times over.Yes, it's annoying, and like you,I choose to move to the next question as long as its not a Vick question((same scenerio). It requires LITTLE to NO effort. But it keeps some people(bored or otherwise) participating.

Flip Side:
This guy is a HALL OF FAMER and will (without a doubt)not only fill seats in most any stadium, but also brings interest to both NFL & non-NFL fans.He IS (in fact) a household name and brings that bit of drama & intrigue to the NFL.Some may be genuinely passionate about what he may(or may not ) do.

Thats my Pro & Con for the day
(I could've done better but I had few beers while BBQing)

I think that people that are hating on him are depending on ESPN way to much for their own opinions and are not rly thinkg for themselvs. Alot of people like to say that they dont care about Favre anymore and just want him to go away but yet you still bring him up and try to bash him all of the time.

They are just a bunch of haters. They can't think of anything else bad to say so they jumped on this. When you are the most popular person in sports, there will always be many haters. Look at the Dallas Cowboys for instance.

Who cares if someone has an interest or love for doing something. No one needs to step in their way or criticize them for what they love. Its no ones business to interfere with ANYONE'S interests. People should be proud the media (as long as its good news) is giving them credit for what they love to do!
