Hands down without question:
Bimota Tesi 2D (I'm safe, it has a Ducati engine). Now I just gotta catch that dis-order where you crap money.

my friends dad had one of them when i was a kid.. it was THE bike that made me want a Ducati when i got older... i got to ride it when i was 16... awesome..
yah.. i'll say i was lucky... at the time i was on an '85 ninja 600 that was new.. my first new street bike.. (the used ones my parents didn't know about.. i think. ) .. well, we were doing the blah, blah type of talk when my buddies ol'man got home from work. he knew that i'd been riding for a while and had ridden with him as well .. and that i loved the way his bike sounded..
he went to his house and came right back out and he just threw the key at me... he said .. " back in 30 minutes with a full tank.. okay?.." i didn't say a word.. i was too busy puttin' on my helmet and gear.. thought he may change his mind. i wanna say that i cracked her open and got her going.. but i was afraid. got her up to about 80.. sounded SO much better when you're on her..
have to say.. i'm closing in on 40 these days.. and if i was in his shoes, i'm not sure i'd do the same.. but that day ignited something that is still in me today. the bad thing was when he sold it in 1987.. i was just getting out of high school and had an '87 gsxr 750.. should have bought that Duc..
