I tried to raise some capital on here but alas, didn't get many takers

Spaggiari's old Imola 200 works bike. Engine # 001, Frame # 002

Yep - I can see blue there. You're not colour blind Gomer?

I'm glad I wasn't the winning bidder on Spadgies bike. I just noticed they aren't the original carbies

Ya gotta love them Dellorto ticklers

Yeah - I wish I had of sold a kidney & testicle instead of my 75 750SS.

They'd be worth a pretty penny now too. Not that I would sell it again.

boodiful brett..
ducati always got it right.....from way back then, till now...well mostly
well almost always most of the time..more than most ..

I love my Ducati's......

But my honest answer is an RC30 ---- bam straight to the heart.

Something about the 900SS FE that always called me.

for me it's the 888 sp5.. to me it's the last time Ducati's superbike had the feel of their heritage.. soft curves and headlights that looked like they came from a car... i like my 900SS, but the 888 was something i really wanted.. one of these days.

don't get me wrong.. i love the 916.. and when it came out it was immediately beautiful.. but it lost some of that '70's and '80's look that was Ducati to me. and watching Raymond Roche and Doug Polen back in the day.. good times. then the "new" kid in '94.. some kid named Troy Corser that came to the AMA from Australia (and won the championship ).. for that era of racing, the 888 was the definition of Ducati racing... mmm 888sp5.. yep..that's the one.
