What is your most desirable Ducati?

Like the title says.. whats that one Ducati (or any other bike) that you sit there and say, "I will buy one, no matter what, in my lifetime". The bike that you have always dreamt of and thought about everytime you talk about motorcycles.

Mine is the 1995 Ducati 916. I saw it in a movie (Fled) when I was a kid. I have had the motorcycle bug ever since. I know it sounds cheesy but seeing that bike changed my life. This is the only vehicle I would ever think of owning and not driving or riding. I'm not the collector kinda guy. I'm the buy it and drive it how it was meant to be driven kind of person.

Although my plan would probably be to buy or build one to perfect condition, ride it for a year, then put it in a huge plexi-glass box in my living room and let it sit there forever, to be looked at and admired.
 
Got it! My Desmosedici RR. First fell in love with it when I saw Troy Bayliss testing it in Ducati's first year in MotoGP. Knew I had to have one!
 
Showing my age here but I already own my hearts desire. A 350cc Widestance Desmo Single w/race modications (a truly plexigalss candiate).

It is the motor itsself that is my heart throb and now it just sits on my work bench as a "what not"... to admire and think about. Its actually better looking inside than out with all the cut down and polished gears, ports, valve, etc., and other items inside. that took many hours of time to accomplish. Great conversation piece while sipping a beer or sweet tea in the gargage. So simple but yet so beautiful....at least in my eyes.

I would probably part with everything else before ever getting rid of it.
 
I wanted a yellow 748. Settled for a red one but not complaining. Love it! Also wanted a Monster. Didn't matter which one. So I bought the S4Rs Tri Colore.

If I had a few extra bucks in my wallet I'd go for a Desmo! Right now the wallet is empty....
