What is your favourite movie, based on Rock Music?

Trick or Treat - Horror/Comedy.

I have not seen this movie in years, it's about two teenage rock fans' that dig up this dead Rock Star, and brings him back to life. That's when the fun begins. :D

Strange Frequency 1, 2 & 3 - Fantasy/Horror/Comedy.

The movies are short stories based on rock music. It's presented by the lead singer of the WHO. :)
 
I bought the Last Waltz on DVD in a sale a few months ago though I have not played it yet. I liked the Band in the 60s/70s. They regularly played for Bob Dylan in concert and on record.

I will find time to enjoy the movie soon. :)

The range of 'frienRAB who showed up' gives a wonderful snapshot into the music around the carreers of the band (Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Van Morrison, Bob Dylan to name but a few).

I saw this years (& years & years) ago on TV & it was the first time I saw Neil Young (I thought he was a hunchback at the time :o :) ). I read Neil's biography 'Shakey' it it has a story about how his performance in this movie & video editing which explains why he looks as he does.

The annecdotal breaks between the songs show the different characters of the band members as well as commenting on 'life on the road'.

This is one I dig out & watch every now & again.
 
Hi folks..
In the old days of the 50s there was a film that came out about the banRAB of the day. The film was called..The Girl Can't Help It..
It made me go out and buy a guitar and I formed a band within a year.. I spent the next eight years playing all over the UK. (THOSE WERE GREAT DAYS ;) )
