What is your favourite film EVER?

Good Will Hunting.
But also American Beauty, The Beach, Groundhog Day, The Wizard Of Oz, The Green Mile & The Shawshank Redemption, Pulp Fiction, The Insider & loaRAB of others.

Good selection yourself !!
ESPECIALLY
The Taking of Pelham 123... I had never seen it before it was on BBC One a few months back.... its a classic...

It was the editing done by a genius that must've took the film over the reviewers head...

remember... FrienRAB is intellectual over there !!

The 'Burbs Steven Spielberg & Co made this and I think its been overlooked by many.

Tom Hanks, Carrie Fisher, Bruce Dern star

I could watch it over and over!

Done in a ridiculous, but fun, spoof style in which you're kept guessing all the way through as to what'll happen next.

There are lots of subtle jokes such as the man shaped hole in the shed roof when Rick Ducommin falls through whilst trying to cut off his neighbours power supply. It was made in 1989 but has not really dated.

Wish it was on DVD in UK!

hang on a couple of more films to add:

saving private ryan/forest gumps - tom hank is one of my fav actors

trainspotting - it'll put you of drugs for life

lock stock and two smoking barrels - best british film ever

die hard with a vengence - brillant film

i think thats it:D

Oh ok .. Green Mile is brilliant ---- who could forget that little mouse!

Stephen king wrote that as well as

Shawshank Redemption!

I cried while reading the books I cried while watching the films!

I always thought books were better than films till I sat engrossed in those 2 films.

Natural Born Killers is not in the same league but I really thought the film was trying to make a point (that got a lost)

He is actually a she (yeah i know my name is bad bad butcher....but bad bad butcheres didn't have the same ring to it)and yes am refering to the french film , the eminem one is entiteled 8mile
seriously everyone should see amilie , twas gr8
Alix

Got to add in the Breakfast Club to this too and a few others on the way.

Never have I seeen a film which showed teenagers who thought they were so different from each other finally come together for a few hours and bond.

And there was a certain something about Judd Nelson too:o :p

Amelie is a fantastic film, first film that I watched and enjoyed with subtitles, now I regularly watch them, very very enjoyable film that acheives a goal that every film should, taking you to a different place and actually feel for the characters that are being portrayed.

My other fave films are.. Pulp fiction, Usual Suspects, Resevoir Dogs, Scarface, Godfather, Donnie Darko, Silence of the lambs... Far to many to mention, but I have quite a few classics still to see :D Dont you just love films.
