What is your definition of a "real poem."?

lovely explanation there.. very poetic :)

for me, it's spontaneous word jugglery and a genuine rendition of the inner parts of oneself(which again is a microcosm of the world).
 
Anything someone writes down about anything inside of them.

I don't have a poetic way of saying that. But that's all it is....this is a poem

Poems don't necessarily have to rhyme. I hate when people believe that they do.

I just describe what I'm seeing or feeling.

I also believe a poem could be music. And I'm not talking about music with lyrics. I'm talking about classical music. Moonlight Sonata.

Those are feelings and thoughts described through music.
