What is your cooking secret, and are you willing to tell?

I have two. I use a mixture of sea salt, kosher salt, and iodized salt, and I substitute pure maple syrup for sugar when I can.

Where I live there's a market called "Wholefoods" and I only buy chicken from there, it's organic and airchilled. It is pricey but I buy them when they are on sale and whenever I make them, even the leftovers get snatched fast.

I use fresh ingredients. Real butter. The best oil I can find. Good sea salt. Freshly ground black pepper. Local produce whenever possible. Good meat from a local organic source. Free range organic eggs. If you use the best ingredients you can find anything you make will taste amazing.

Fresh ingredients for sure whenever possible.

Multi color pepper for black pepper

Raw sugar

Unusual salts Never table salt unless the recipe insists.
