What is Wrong with the Zwinky Chat window?

When I log onto a chat server (i.e. Activist and Beachmaster), it loads the Zwinky World Map. Then I try to go to a location (i.e. Lexi Hall and Java Jolt), and it loads the map, but there are no people on the map at all. The chat bubbles don't come up either.
