Ok I have 2 acoustic lab studio monitors hooked up to my stereo system.
Each monitor has three speakers in it, a 12 in a 5 in and a 3 in and are 150 watts rms.
Now for some reason, not all the speakers are working.
I took of the grill, and they have no indication of a blown speaker, no tears or anything, the cone is still perfectly round, and everything.
On the right monitor, only the 3 in tweeter is working, so I took out the other two and tried to hook them up straight to my stereo system, however they didn't work. I then took out the working speaker to see if it would work, and it did.
I even tested the power on the output from the amp and it is just as it should be.
On my left monitor, the 5 in speaker isn't working, and I did the same to test it and still nothing came out.
No output at all from any of the broken speakers.
What could it be?
Is there anyway to fix it?
