I don't know what's with people in this city.
Lately, the roads have been really icy. And yet people continue to drive like it's summer. They go 80 km/h down city streets, and approach the back of your car when you're stopped at a red light and only slow down at the last minute, thus spinning out of control and causing a massive accident.
We had freezing rain a few days ago (the day that I had my little mishap), and that doesn't slow people down. I was driving home last night, the road was icy, and the speed limit on that road is 60 km/h. I was doing 40. And a civic passes me, going at least 100. My first thought was "I'm going to see you later crammed up the ass of a larger vehicle."
Unfortunately, I never did.
Also, turn signals. I must have been cut off 20 times by assholes who don't signal. It's not that difficult to pull that little lever up or down. It saves me trouble, it lesses your chances of getting a big rig crammed up your ass, and it makes the world a better place.
Sometimes I miss living in a small town.
