What is wrong with my new pioneer car stereo?

OK i got a pioneer deck DEH-P6100BT in march and i hooked it up and it worked great, then one morning i went to turn on my truck and the deck didnt start up. Baffled, i asked my Father (who is a licensed mechanic) and he says that there isnt anything wrong with the wiring, so it must be a problem with the deck itself. So frustrated i returned the product and got a brand new one 3 days ago. I got my father to hook it up and it worked great, up until this morning when once again i went to start my truck, and the deck didnt turn on. I have had other decks in my truck working fine, except this one. i am very annoyed by this and if anyone could tell me what the problem is that would be great. Thanks
 
You have had two units do the exact same thing, the problem is going to be in the wiring somewhere. Check all the wiring, especially the red, yellow and black wires. Either you're not getting power when you turn on your key, or you have a bad ground.
