i just installed a new car audio receiver, all the speakers work, everything works fine. but the heat sink produces a lot of heat really fast, and i start to smell smoke. i never let it run for more than about 10 minutes in fear of it catching on fire or something. i've heard it could be the speaker amps not being able to handle the power, my ground is not good enough, all kinds of stuff. what would cause all this heat? please no trolls.
