I was parked at a grocery store the other day and when i came back out to start it the rpm's ran really low and it shook for a few seconds...so i turned it off and then started it again and it ran fine. This has happened a few times over the past few weeks...please help it has 145,000 miles

Well start with the basic things have you've been changing the fuel filter on a yrly basis or doing basic tune ups yrly or checking air filter and PCV valve, plus have you've been adding a gas treatment at least once a yr.

Hope that helps and best of luck.By the way even a loose battery cable or rusty or corroded grounds to the engine block etc can cause such problems too especially loose batter post connections or a faulty frayed or burnt etc wire.I'd change the gas filter for sure and later add Lucas gas treatment then after using up a few tanks of gas again change the filter.
