I am the owner of a 1992 Jeep Comanche with a 4.0L straight six that will not run. It was fine and then it just out of nowhere had trouble starting (which it did eventually), but then literally sputtered out on me. On it's last run it would idle high then low then repeat. I have tried the crankshaft position sensor, the computer, the fuel pump, the distributor, checked for spark from the distributor and the coil. They all checked out fine.
