What is wrong with my fish?

My glofish (for all intents and purposes, it's a zebra danio). I got it about this time yesterday and it seemed a little jumpy, but I've seen that in other new fish so it didn't concern me. I just came back from classes and found it dead in my tank with red gills and red spots all over it. Does anyone know what this is?
 
maybe the water was to warm or cold on it? i am sorry. That same thing happened to my goldfish? Try to research on a zebra danios. I hope u find out what happend... =)
