The other day one of my minnows died and I wasnt quite sure what had happened to it so I have been paying extremly close attention to the rest of my fish.
To start with i began to notice that the minnows were swimming at the bottom of the tank where they are more top of the tank swimmers.
I have also noticed that one of the goldfish imparticular looks bloated and has been sitting on the rocks at the bottom corner of the tank leaning to the left hand side, then the other 2 goldfish have came and sat with him, Could this be a symptom of illness or due to the fact I have moved the filter and this is where th calmer water is for them to rest?
Another symptom that I have noticed is that all of the goldfish keep scratching themselves on the gravel and decoration and I cant see why spots but some of the scales and little dots on the fish have lost their colour and look more metallic/silver than the rest of the fish is this what ich is? as i dont want to treat the fish if they don't have ich and its hard to tell from pictures on the internet?
I am also not quite sure if they are holding their fins in the correct matter.
