The rear lights don't work and now the passenger door won't unlock.
She lives far away 600 miles! and took it to Autozone and they would not look at it but Pep Boys said it was not a fuse but tht they needed to charge $89 to check it out. Any help please.

It sounds like two unrelated concerns.
The passenger door has probably either froze or seized the door unlock solenoid and the mechanism can't move against it to unlock. A quick, temporary fix is to disconnect the solenoid and the door can then be manually locked and unlocked.
The rear lights sure sound like a fuse, but it wouldn't be too surprising if the bulbs were simply burned out. (There's a fuse box under the hood as well as inside the vehicle)

Sounds like a relay that may be bad. There are several of them for that truck. Look in the owners manual for the one that affects that particular operation
