Ok guys I'm in need of some help here. My problem is kinda specific but I figured it's better to have too much detail than not enough.
So I lost my license for about a month and a half, and my car pretty much just sat in my driveway the whole time since I couldn't drive it. After I got my license back I noticed this pretty loud clicking sort of noise... I don't really know how to describe it. It got louder when the car was revved - even in park but would go away after I had been driving for like five minutes. Also, (I think this may be a separate problem having to do with transmission) the car doesn't accelerate well at all anymore, especially when it hasn't been driven for a little while. It's an older car - a 99 GMC Jimmy with about 136,000 miles on it. Any info would be much appreciated. I live in New England so the roads and winters are really rough, but I've only had it for two years, and before that it was in Florida. I hope it's not time for it's funeral just yet.
