i have a 07 jeep grand cherokee with a factory boston acoustic premium sound system with factory amp. i bypassed the amp and connected all of my speaker wires straight to my pioneer avic f900bt.
i also have 2 12' sony explodes 1200w each connected to a jl audio 250/1 amp. the amp is getting its power from a 8 farad power acoustic capacitor which is grounded the same place with the amp. the capacitor is getting its power from the battery with a fuse connected to the wire just before the battery.

whenever i turn up the volume all the way the aftermarket radio(pioneer) blows a 10 fuse. i thought since i bought the capacitor that i wouldnt have this problem? if you need anymore details to let me know whats happening or what i should do, let me no...
so i dont need the capacitor? and what do you mean something in my deck is getting to hot?

first you should never turn it up all the way set your sub amp to at 3/4 of the ways up on your stereo. something in your deck is getting to hot check the ground on the radio and the 2 power wires (red and yellow) and that cap is way over kill for that amp 1000 watts of output power rms is about 1 farad
