I have an automatic transmission gto. I goes into all 4 gears but when it goes into 3rd and 4th it will only rev up and wont go. I checked transmission fluid and it was low and I added a quart and drove it about a mile and there was no improvement. Any idea whats wrong?
Could still be low, Make sure the engine is warm at operating temp, drive it around make sure the fluid is warm, then check it again, but sounds like its low. Does it have HIGH Miles? May need a fluid filter change.
